How to Cultivate Good Morning Habits?

You feel that you’re ready to join the early birds and that’s great! But don’t try to make drastic changes. You should introduce new habits slowly into your daily routine.

Set Your Goal Time

You can try to get up just 20-30 minutes earlier than you usually do and get used to this practice for a few days. Then you can add another 15-20 minutes and offer your organism the opportunity to get used to this innovation again. Remember, if you want to get your goal time, you should do it gradually to make the adaptation process less stressful and more successful.

Leave Your Alarm Clock Away from Your Bed

When your alarm clock is next to your bed, you usually shut it off and continue to sleep. But if you put your wake-up call away from your bed and you need to get out of bed to shut it off, you’ll be more likely to stay up!

Make Your Bed and Leave Your Bedroom

After waking up, it would be better to make your bed quickly and go out of the bedroom. In such a way, you can easily avoid the temptation to get into bed and fall asleep again.

You can motivate yourself by planning some tasks for the next morning. So, you’ll have a good reason to wake up early.

Reward Yourself
